Sunrise Walk, 1. Januarst 2017

Holen Sie sich Ihr neues Jahr auf einen gesunden Start durch den Beitritt zu Fußfällen auf eine einzigartige Wicklow Walking-Erlebnis zu sehen, die Sonne über die Irische See zum ersten Mal im Jahr 2017 zu sehen.

Level: Moderate (11 km – 310 m Aufstieg)

Anmeldung: Lynham’s Hotel in Laragh bei 06.00 am, Abfahrt bei 06.15 am (sharp).

Route: Vom Hotel aus führt der Spaziergang auf einen Teil der Wicklow Way und durch den Brockagh Forest, auf den Gipfel des Brockagh Mountain von einer nördlichen Richtung (470 m). Unser Abstieg führt uns den Sporn des Brockagh-Berges hinunter, um den Wicklow-Weg zurückzukehren, der uns zurück zu Lynhams Hotel führt, um ein gut verdientes Frühstück zu machen.

Kosten: € 30 pro Person inkl. Spaziergang und Frühstück.

Terms & Conditions

  • It is forbidden to light matches or discard litter along the routes.
  • DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON ANY OF THE WALKS
  • Participants  must be 16 years or older, or accompanied by an adult, who will assume complete liability for that person.
  • Walkers must be fully equipped and capable of undertaking the walk.Footfalls Walking Holidays LTD will not accept responsibility for any accident however it may arise.

If you need to cancel a walk that you have already paid for, please contact us before Wednesday the 28th of  December 2016. after that date walks must be paid for in full (NO REFUND)

Equipment

  • Good waterproof walking boots, with good ankle support.
  • Good rain jacket & over-trousers
  • Warm clothing, dress with layers rather than one heavy sweatshirt
  • Back Pack, lined with a plastic bag to contain some extra clothing
  • Hat and Gloves
  • Head Torch/Flashlight for the night walks
  • Walking poles and gaiters (Optional)
  • Snack, warm drink & water
  • A good sense of adventure & fun!

It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure they are suitably equipped for the walk.

Jeans and trainers/runners are not suitable for mountain walking.

Unless walkers are wearing suitable walking boots and clothing, they will not be allowed to participate in the walk.
